The 11th English Alpine Championships closed today after another very successful series of races. Despite the combined efforts of the officials, coaches and resort teams to overcome the snow conditions, the second Childrens GS race on day 5 and the GS races on the final day had to be cancelled, but otherwise the event was judged to be a great success with over 350 racers from more than 10 countries taking part.
