Alpine Pathway

 

The pathway programmes are designed to support talented athletes who meet selection criteria to progress in alpine racing. The programmes work alongside athletes existing programmes through their clubs or academies and are available provide additional support and guidance to athletes and parents as and when required.

What do the Alpine Development Groups provide?

  • Invited to attend Athlete Capacity Evaluation (ACE) screening session
  • Invited to attend a skills assessment day
  • Invited to attend 3 weekend development events
  • Name on the Snowsport England website
  • Have the opportunity to purchase squad clothing.

What does the England Alpine Squad provide?

  • Invited to attend an initial ACE screening session
  • Have access to online S&C programme on request
  • Opportunity to purchase England Alpine Squad clothing at subsidised rates
  • Profile on the SSE website

Alpine Committee - Officials Training Role

Officiating is an integral part of the Alpine Community, and an exciting responsibility to co-ordinate the Race Officials Training Programme has opened up. The Race Officials Training Coordinator is a voluntary position and will sit as part of the Snowsport England Alpine Committee, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the behind-the-scenes of alpine ski racing, and to help make a difference for the future of alpine ski racing.
