After a busy few days, the hectic competition schedule continues for the GB Park and Pipe team who are now in Mammoth, USA competing in the next World Cup.

British Schoolgirls Races hit a new level in Flaine

This last two days have seen over 150 girls from 31 schools across the UK descend on Flaine, France for the British Schoolgirls Races 2017.

The two-day event attracted girls of all levels of ski racing – from those relatively new to racing, to some of Great Britain’s rising ski stars. And again it proved to be a brilliant event for aspiring female ski racers and giving young racers aged from Under 14 to Under 21 valuable competitive experience.

Future winter stars announced as Team GB selects 17 athletes for Erzurum 2017

The British Olympic Association (BOA) has today announced the 17 athletes selected to represent Team GB at the Erzurum 2017 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival (Erzurum 2017)

The athletes, all aged 15-17 years old, will compete across five of the nine disciplines at Erzurum 2017; alpine skiing, cross country skiing, figure skating, short track speed skating and snowboarding - with the Festival set to run from the 12th-18th February.

Woodsy claims X Games gold and Ormerod bronze

A magical week for British snowsports continued yesterday in the US, as GB Park and Pipe's James 'Woodsy' Woods (25, Sheffield) claimed a gold medal in Ski Big Air at the X Games in Aspen.

In the world's biggest freeskiing and snowboarding competition, Woodsy stepped up his skiing to another level to take the win last night. 


Jamie Nicholls seals World Cup Slopestyle podium in Italy

GB Park and Pipe snowboarder Jamie Nicholls has taken second in the World Cup Slopestyle in Seiseralm, Italy today.

This follows his World Cup Slopestyle win last season in the Czech Republic. 


X-Games kicks off today, Slopestyle World Cup in full swing and World University Games in Almaty

Slopes across England offer schoolchildren the chance to ski or snowboard from £1 during National Schools Snowsport Week

Slopes across England are set to run free or heavily discounted activities as part of the second National Schools Snowsport Week sponsored by Visit Andorra (

Taking place from 24-30 April 2017 this year’s event is backed by Winter Olympians Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, Dave Ryding, Aimee Fuller and Graham Bell.
