World Cup win for GB Park and Pipe’s Isabel Atkin, Andrew Musgrave claims historic fourth place at Nordic World Ski Championships and Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships start this week

GB Park and Pipe skier Isabel Atkin made history on Friday in Silvaplana, Switzerland, becoming Great Britain’s first ever female Ski Slopestyle World Cup winner.

Call for schools to sign up to free or discounted ski or snowboard sessions as part of National Schools Snowsport Week

Schools in England have just a few weeks left to sign up to free or heavily discounted activities at over 20 slopes across the country as part of the second National Schools Snowsport Week sponsored by Visit Andorra (www.nssw.co.uk).

11th place for Musgrave at Nordic World Ski Championships, top 10 for Wallace in Aerials World Cup and two podiums for Taylor in Telemark World Cup

Andrew Musgrave had the result of the weekend for British Nordic at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti, Finland, finishing 11th in the Men’s Skiathlon on Saturday.

In the Sprint Freestyle final two days earlier, Andrew Young had put in a solid 22nd place finish. In the same race Callum Smith finished 73rd and James Clugnet was 75th position.
