English Alpine Championships 2017 start this weekend in Bormio

The 21st English Alpine Championships start tomorrow in Bormio, celebrating their 10th year in the Italian resort and featuring 400 of the country’s most talented skiers ranging from under 10s to senior athletes.

The English Alpine Championships kick off tomorrow with the Opening Parade in the centre of Bormio. As well as a busy week of daytime racing, the Team Parallel Slalom returns on the Tuesday night under the floodlights, after three hugely successful years.

The English Alpine Championships continue to feature the rising stars of Alpine skiing in England, previously acting as a platform for the likes of Dave Ryding and Cara Brown.

To follow all the action including results and photos from the Championships, check the Snowsport England Facebook page and the Snowsport England website – www.snowsportengland.org.uk. Live updates including information on weather and race changes will be posted on the Snowsport England Twitter @SnowsportEng

The English Alpine Championships are sponsored in 2017 by Bormio Ski, Rossignol, Vital, Ski Club of Great Britain, Ski Bartletts and Racer Ready.
