Busy week for Ryding and British Nordic teams

Delancey British Alpine Team

Following Dave Ryding’s fantastic 13th place finish at the World Cup Slalom in Santa Caterina yesterday, he will now move over to Adelboden where he will race in the next Slalom World Cup on Sunday.

Charlie Guest finished 30th in yesterday’s Europa Cup in Zinal. Also in Europa Cup action next week is Cara Brown who will be racing in the Downhill and Super G races in Altenmarkt, Austria. Alex Tilley will next race in Flachau, Austria in next Tuesday’s World Cup Slalom.

Ryding claims 13th in Santa Caterina Slalom World Cup

Delancey British Alpine Team athlete Dave Ryding has secured another world class performance with a 13th place in today’s Slalom World Cup in Santa Caterina, Italy.

Following his 24th place finish in Madonna di Campiglio before Christmas and his best ever World Cup result, 12th in Val d’Isere in mid-December, this second top 15 World Cup finish of the season firmly cements Ryding as a force to reckoned with on the circuit.

English Alpine Championships

Call for volunteers – Referees, Course Setters and Forerunners

Once again we are trying to get ahead of the game by asking for nominations, proposals or volunteers before we actually arrive in resort, to allow us to plan the distribution of roles more effectively. This worked well last time, so we would like to run the same scheme again.

Referees

Get Involved! Call for course setters, referees, fore-runners

Team Update

The organising Team for Bormio 2016 is now complete, but if you would like to get some experience of what it is like to help out at the Championships, or just get a flavour of how to make the transition from officiating in the UK to races in the Alps, please do get in touch with us and we'll be happy to chat about it. We hope to organise at least one informal session to give people an overview of what it's all about, so keep an eye on the web site for more details about this nearer the time.
