FIS Cross Country World Cup, Beitostølen NOR – Saturday 8 December
Andrew Musgrave was 15th in Saturday’s 30km free skate in Norway, a performance he described as “not too bad on a day I wasn’t at my best.”
You’ve probably seen it popping up on social media these past few week’s, perhaps you’ve had a glance at it and thought it looked pretty cool. But what does the Graystone Action Sports Academy offer, and what does it mean for UK snowsports?

Enhanced Learning Environment
Four freestyle skiers and four alpine skiers will see World Cup action over the next three days along with GB Cross Country’s Andrew Musgrave who will be looking to carry some strong form through from last week’s impressive efforts in Lillehammer.

FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup, Ruka FIN – Friday 7 December
Andrew Musgrave and James Barnes-Miller both earned World Cup top tens over the weekend which saw GB Snowsport skiers and snowboarders competing across Europe and North America.

FIS Cross Country World Cup, Lillehammer NOR – Fri 30 Nov-Sun 2 Dec
The opening World Cup of the season for the GB Cross Country team brought with it one of the best performances of Andrew Musgrave’s career.
British skiers and snowboarders are spread across three continents THIS coming week, contesting World, Europa and Far East Cup competitions. Leading the way are the GB Cross Country team who line up for their first World Cup of the season in Norway, a pair of GB Alpine skiers are in the US while two riders saw World Cup action today at the para snowboard World Cup in Finland.

Kickstarting the Winter season, The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival celebrated their 45th Anniversary with hundreds of excited visitors who entered Battersea Park 25th – 28th October. Having truly developed from a show into a Festival, complete with sparkling lights, mouth-watering food choices and dazzling entertainment, this years’ event saw an increase of 24% on visitors from last year. |

FIS Alpine World Cup, Lake Louise CAN & Killington USA – Sat 24-Sun 25 November
For the third straight year, Alex Tilley finished 21st in the giant slalom World Cup at Killington, Vermont on Saturday.
The winter season stepped up another gear on the weekend with seven British skiers competing in high-class competition with the Alpine World Cup in Finland and the Norwegian season-opening races in Beitostolen.

FIS Alpine World Cup, Levi FIN – Sunday 18 November
Dave Ryding opened his World Cup slalom campaign with a credible 12th place finish in Levi on Sunday.
Both Snozone Milton Keynes and Snozone Castleford require immediately instructors in Alpine, Snowboard, Adaptive (Ski and Snowboard), Race and Freestyle.
We offer a great team atmosphere, regular training, discounted food and free slope use when off duty.
We are interviewing now and would love to hear from anyone with a minimum of Alpine or Snowboard level 1 or equivalent.
This is a seasonal contract, but there are a number of permanent positions that will be offered to the right team members following the season in March 2019.
