FIS Licence Renewals for the 2019/20 Season Now Open!

GB Snowsports have opened FIS Licence applications for the 2019/20 season. Book before the 30th June for the early bird rate!

To be eligible for a FIS license you must renew your Snowsport England membership, as this provides you with your liability insurance for competing. GB Snowsports won't accept your FIS license application until this has been completed.

Alpine and ski cross competitors must be born in 2000 or earlier, but other disciplines may vary, there are also BASS point requirements for a FIS license. Male athletes born in 2000 must have equal to or less than 290 BASS points, and female athletes must have equal to or less than 270 points. Male or female athletes born in 1999 must have equal to or less than 240 or 230 BASS points respectively. Any other male athletes must have 200 or fewer BASS points, whilst all remaining female athletes must have a maximum of 190 BASS points. What is an FIS (Federation International du Ski) Licence?
