PARK & PIPE

Park and Pipe snowboarding refers to riding in man‑made freestyle environments—terrain parks and halfpipes—designed for tricks, jumps and technical manoeuvres.

Within park and pipe, you have:

Big Air features one massive jump where riders aim for their best trick — big airtime, big style points.

Slopestyle where riders perform tricks on a mix of jumps and rails, showing off skill, flow and style.

Halfpipe uses a U-shaped snow structure (called a halfpipe) where riders perform tricks from wall to wall while maintaining smooth transitions.

Rail Jam focuses on technical skill, where riders perform tricks on rails, boxes and other street-style features.

This discipline combines elements of freestyle and alpine snowboarding.

It is a competitive sport where multiple snowboarders race down a specially designed course filled with obstacles, jumps and turns.
