Snowsport England are committed to nurturing and developing snowsports talent in England, providing clear pathways for athletes to progress into GB Snowsport teams.

Our talent pathway brings together a range of training and support programmes across multiple disciplines, designed to help athletes progress with purpose and confidence. Whether just starting out or already competing at a high level, athletes can join at any stage - provided they meet the selection criteria - and move through the pathway in a way that reflects their individual journey.
At its heart, the pathway is about more than performance. We aim to create meaningful development opportunities that equip athletes with the skills, experience and mindset they need to reach their full potential - not only as high-performing competitors, but as well-rounded individuals in all areas of life.
We currently deliver dedicated talent programmes in alpine, park and pipe, para alpine and para snowboard, alongside a variety of support initiatives open to athletes from all disciplines. Looking ahead, we’re committed to growing and evolving the pathway, expanding opportunities and refining our approach. We’ll keep you updated as we continue to develop and shape what comes next.
GRASSROOTS TO OLYMPIC PATHWAY
Above is a current representation of the Snowsport England pathway programmes, which shows the potential routes from learning to ski or snowboard through to entering GB Snowsports programmes. We will continue to update this as we develop our pathways across all disciplines.
PARALYMPIC PATHWAY
Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland and GB Snowsport run jointly funded pathways across our para-snowsports disciplines. The Paralympic pathways provide a structured route for disabled athletes from grassroots to elite performance in alpine, snowboard and nordic disciplines. Supported by Arnold Clark funding, the pathway includes specialised coaching, talent identification and inclusive training opportunities.
