parallel lines
what is PARALLEL LINES?
Parallel Lines is a fun open race series, aimed at skiers and snowboarders with disabilities and assisted needs but open to everyone.
Five slalom races are held across indoor snow centres around the UK, organised by Snowsport England and Snowsport Scotland. Train and compete with your best time taken towards the results. Ideal for friends and families to compete together - or just come on your own!

What IS THE RACE FORMAT?
Each race starts with an open practice training slot, followed by a two-hour race window. During the race, competitors can complete as many runs as they like. The best time is taken towards the results.
Results will be given a time factor based on age and nature of disability, then compared to a time set by a forerunner.
With your factor taken into account, you will be awarded either gold, silver or bronze, depending on how close your time is to the forerunner. There are winners for the individual races and for the overall series.
