What’s new in Jasná for winter 2026/27?

A day on the slopes followed by an evening in a warm thermal pool? In Slovakia’s Liptov region, both are within easy reach. With Jasná–Chopok at its heart, Liptov brings together mountain activities, wellness, local food and après-ski in one compact destination.

Jasná is planning to open for the season on 28 November 2026 with several additions for visitors.

A new Family slope will connect Luková with the Otupné area. At more than 2 km long, it will give families and recreational skiers another option for the descent.

There will be more skiing after dark, too. Lighting on two additional slopes will bring Jasná’s night-skiing offer to almost 6 km of illuminated runs, including the Snowpark.

On the southern side of Chopok, added snowmaking on route 34 is intended to improve conditions on the blue run from the summit.

More than a ski holiday

Jasná offers slopes on both sides of Chopok, with options for beginners, families and experienced skiers. Ski touring, freeriding and cross-country skiing offer further ways to explore the region.

When it’s time to put the skis away, Liptov’s thermal pools are close by. Tatralandia, Bešeňová and Lúčky offer places to warm up and relax after a day in the mountains. Visitors can also enjoy mountain dining, local Slovak food and Jasná’s après-ski scene.

Accommodation ranges from hotels and family guesthouses to mountain chalets and apartments, making it possible to plan a short break or a longer winter holiday.
