Whether you want to support beginners on the slope, work at your local snow centre, or progress into coaching and leadership, the Snowsport England snowboard pathway provides a clear route from your first steps to advanced coaching. 

You don’t need prior teaching experience to get started – just a passion for snowboarding and a desire to develop.

Your introduction to instructing. Learn how to support beginner lessons and start teaching on artificial and indoor slopes.

level 2:
snowboard instructor

Build your confidence and deliver lessons independently, working with a wider range of snowboarders.

Not sure if you’re ready?

If you can snowboard confidently and link your turns, you’re likely ready to begin at Level 1. 

Many of our instructors started as recreational riders or regular holiday snowboarders before taking the next step.
