The Roller Ski Instructor (Level 2) qualification builds on the foundations of Level 1, equipping you with the knowledge, technical understanding and teaching skills to deliver engaging sessions for a wider range of participants.
With this award, you'll be able to plan and deliver lessons independently, helping skiers refine their technique, build confidence and progress their roller skiing in a safe and enjoyable environment.

QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW
Minimum age
18 years-old
Pre-requisites
- Roller Ski Instructor (Level 1) or recognised equivalent
- Be able to demonstrate an appropriate level in both classic and skating techniques (e.g. roller ski 4* proficiency)
Course duration
Two days (14 hours)
Assessment
Continuous assessment throughout the training course

- Roller ski clubs
- Closed-road and traffic-free venues
- Other suitable roller ski environments approved by your provider

Working towards YOUR LICENCE
To complete your Level 1 qualification, you need to:
· Hold the Roller Ski Instructor (Level 1) qualification.
· Attend and successfully complete the full course.
· Meet the required assessment criteria.
· Hold current Snowsport England membership.
Additional requirements for licensing include: valid First Aid, safeguarding training and DBS check.
NEXT STEPS
